Love On The Land

Based on George Dell's inspirational novel "The Earth Abideth," this limited series produced with Paramount is an epic family saga set during the aftermath of the American Civil War. Thomas Linthorne (Peter Strauss) starts a new life when he acquires an expansive property in booming Ohio. He rescues the woman of his dreams, Kate (Rachel Ward), from an abusive home, and they develop a strong love for one another. The series chronicles the trials that plague the couple and their children (Justin Chambers and Nick Stahl) as they rise from poverty to wealth. This is a heartfelt story about the power of love and the meaning of sacrifice.
